Suedanka Kennels

Breeder & Exhibitor of Qualty Cocker Spaniels

International Imports

With NZ being such a small isolated country, imports can play a huge role, i have only just begun to source the lines and type of cocker that i wish have into the future, thanks to the help of dedicated and generous breeders abroad.

The following dogs are just the beginning.....

Aust RBISS Ch & NZ BIS BISS Ch Ashmere Sweet Sweet Love At Suedanka - Imp Aust

Evie arrived in whelp to Australian Grand Champion Teenalee To A Tee, this litter went on to produce NZ's top winning and only grand champion cocker bitch,

NZ Gr Ch Suedanka Dared to Dream

Evie has proven her quality in both the show ring with Allbreeds Best in Show wins and Multiple Specialty Best in Show wins in New Zealand.

Evieproduced Champions in three countries; Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Evie has been a huge asset to my kennel.

Thank you to Julie Burbidge (Ashmere) for allowing Evie to make the trip.

NZ RBISS Ch Kebarlea Kloak N Dagger At Suedanka - Imp Aust

Dagger arrived as a young 11mth old, he hit the ring running acheiving his title in a few short months, topping it off with a Specialty Reserve Best in Show as a 14mth old.

 Dagger is a proven stud dog with progeny in both Australia and New Zealand including his two daughters;

Suedanka Sweet Solitaire - Puppy of Group - NZ National Dog show 2007 - retired from the show ring at 13mths with only 1cc required for her title.

Aust Ch Suedanka Luv is Bak At Penita - A multiple group and in show winner, owned by Jeanne Skudder of Penita Kennels.

Dagger stands at stud to approved ladies,.

HU SK A Ger Fin SU DK Nor NZ Ch Sheerclever Out of Reach At Macdolly - Imp Denmark

The most titled Cocker in Australasia - 13 champion titles!

AC, the inernational visitor, he arrived amongst a lot of hype, imported from Denmark To NZ before going onto Australia to his Australian owner - Macdolly Kennels.

While in NZ, AC completed his show title slowly, picking up a Reserve Best of Group and an Open of group.

A few hours after winning Reserve Best of Group, AC was on his way to the south Island to a 'lady in waiting' before he continued on his way a short time later to Australia.

The trip to the South island, resulted in a litter for Espaniel Kennels , of this litter one puppy gained its NZ show title and another has an Australian Show title.

AC flew to Australia and unfortunately tragically passed away without being able to complete his last (14th) show title.

 He was a clown and a show man, with an amazing coat, and ever wagging tail, unfortunately he did not produce any puppies for Suedanka so was not able to contribute to the future of the kennel.

NZ Ch Kokleone Key Largo - Imp Aust

The new boy on the block!                                                    (Photo at 12mths)

Blue arrived late in 2008, bred by Colin Peel and will only stay a short time before returning to his Australian owners; Colin, Kerry Hutt and Geoff Love.

He is a son of 'The Producer" - Aka Aust Ch Royoni Ahead in Time.

Blue gained his CC's with ease having more then enough to gain his title before he turned 12mths old, along with numerous group and in show awards.

Thank you to Kerry, Geoff and Colin for entrusting this boy to me.

Westlake Stardust Melody - Imp Aust

Melody arrived in whelp to ;

Aust Gr Ch Royoni Hes True Blue
and produced a lovely blue roan litter.

She has been lightly shown in Australia and is over half way to her show title, but will not complete it before she comes to NZ due to time constraints.

 DNA tested clear for PRCD-PRA

She will enter the ring in NZ in 2010.
