All wins listed below are at CHAMPIONSHIP SHOWS - I do not count open or ribbon parade wins as truly 'noteable wins' due to the small numbers that enter, they are merely training days.

Now EVERY adult cocker in the team is DNA tested, not ONE, but ALL!!!

Melody's babies are up and about and looking lovely, making their first trip outside on to the grass this weekend.

Glossy is due to have her babies next week and Diva is heavily pregnant and due to have her babies in a couple of weeks, so we are all staying home and starting to enjoy the sunshine.

17 October - Melody's litter arrives safely, all blue roan.

22 October - The first litter to be sired by 'Blue'  is confirmed by ultra sound.

29 October - The second litter to be sired by 'Blue' is confirmed.

Melody aka "Westlake Stardust Melody"

 Thank you to Dandy Dogs for there assistance in importing this girl, as usual their service was professional and efficient, Melody has bounced out of her crate and made a claim to the house, very soon to be known as 'The Mouth', for her strong desire to voice her opinion on almost anything.

 Melody has now been confirmed in whelp to the top winning Australian Boy;

We are very excited to be able to bring over these well proven lines, this litter will not develope PRCD-PRA due to health testing of the parents.

At the last shows of the month, Diva wins Best of Breed and is shortlisted for Best of Group.  The other team mates have a weekend off.

News from Tasmania;

Bella aka 'Suedanka Luv is Bak at Penita'  Gains her Australian Show title!

Not bad for a youngster who has taken after her mother and is not carrying any coat as a young girl. 

Well done to Jeanne, 'Bella' is the first  Australian Cocker Champion for Suedanka, sent to Australia as a 12wk bundle of trouble.

Blue starts the month with Best dog and Challenge & Best of Breed - under Specialist - Mrs Derrick (Canada)  - This means Blue is a NEW CHAMPION the first weekend he is eligible!

14/15th March - 4 championshio shows in 2 days 
Diva and blue win BOB and RBOB at all 4 shows along with;

Junior of Group - Blue - Judge John Clark

NZ Bred of Group- Diva - Judge Gary Doyle

Reserve Best of Group & NZ Bred of Group - Judge - Cocker Specialist - Geoff Kill

We miss the last shows of the year due to other commitments.

Another good weekend!

Blue wins his 8th & 9th CC, meaning he has more then he needs for his NZ show title, however he is not yet 12mths old so has to sit tight and wait for his birthday.

Dagger becomes a dad, one girl puppy may be available to a loving home.

Diva finishes the month with Reserve Best of Group & NZbred in Show - Central Hawkes bay Kennel Assn - Mr Bodegard (sweden) 

The new year has arrived and the team have had a great time over summer, relaxing and playing with their new toys, they embarked on the new show season with gusto and had a highly successful first show weekend;

Diva started the year with Best of Breed at both shows under truly international judges (India and Poland), with Blue following closely winning Reserve Best of breed at both shows, they then carried on to win;

A quiet time at home with no shows for a while to allow Blue time to settle in....
